Looking for a Program for Your Little One? We Have Them!!

Are you looking for some place to bring your baby, toddler or preschooler for fun, music, and stories? Come to your public library! Many different branches of the Alameda County Library offer free programs for parents and children, and you can find them listed on our website, under Events

For our very youngest Library visitors, Baby Time, Lapsit for Prewalkers, and Baby Bounce are parent/child programs of songs, fingerplays, bounces, and books. Toddlers and older babies enjoy Toddler Time, Mother Goose on the Loose, Toddler Art and Toddler Music. Preschoolers aged three and over can join Preschool Storytime, Read to Me, Bedtime Storytime, or Bilingual Preschool Storytime.

Not all branches offer all of these types of programs, but you can find things happening in the morning, afternoon or evening, and some weekends. Check the Events listings, or call your local branch for more information. Some programs require that you register, as attendance is limited, and others you can just drop in and enjoy!
