Disney’s 1950 cartoon, The Brave Engineer, illustrates with hilarious detail the dangers of unchecked devotion to duty. Based on the ballad of train engineer Casey Jones, who became a folk legend after losing his life in a heroic attempt to save his train, the Brave Engineer plays the story strictly for laughs.
